A contemporary 18K gold ring features an emerald-cut 1.91 ct sparkling apple green Russian demantoid garnet flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds ( 0.35 ct total weight).

This type of cut is highly unusual and extremely rare for Russian demantoids. It is the first emerald-cut demantoid we have ever seen. The stone has prominent horsetail inclusions which are typical for demantoids from the Russia’s Ural Mountains.
