Made in Vienna, Austria in the 1950s.
The brooch is finely modelled as a lily of the valley. The flower heads are superbly carved from frosted rock crystal and embellished with diamonds. The green leaf is naturalistically carved from a single piece of nephrite jade and set in 14K white gold.
Marked with the horse head assay mark for Austrian 4th gold standard (14K), “A’ for Vienna, 585 gold, and maker’s mark ‘KD’.
Length is 72 mm (2 13/16 in.)
