A Vintage Ruby and Diamond Engagement Ring

Russian, circa 1910

The ring is vertically set with an old cushion cut diamond (approximately 0.31 ct) in a silver-topped gold milgrain setting

and an old cut natural ruby (approximately 0.25 ct) in a milgrain gold setting,

flanked by two interlaced scrolling rows of old cut round diamonds and calibre cut rubies.

The diamonds are set in silver over gold. The calibre rubies are channel-set in gold.

Estimated total diamond weight 0.55 ct.
