A vintage Russian 14K gold three-stone ring is centered with a rare 1.96 ct brilliant cut demantoid from the Ural Mountains of an excellent golden green color. The center stone is flanked by two o.51 ct bright white diamonds (G color, VS1-2 clarity). The diamonds are set is white gold.
Russian demantoids of that size are rare. The demantoid measures 7.34 x 5.44 mm. The stone has some very fine so-called “horsetail” inclusions, which are typical for demantoids of Russian origin.
Total diamond weight is 1.02 ct.
The ring is marked with maker’s mark and Russian 583 gold standard.
