An Antique Gemstone Gold Brooch – Pin
made in Moscow between 1899 and 1908
A 14K gold brooch is formed as a stylized flower with five hanging prong-set faceted gemstones:
an amethyst, a topaz, an aquamarine, a demantoid and a citrin.
The sparkling demantoid is of an excellent bright green color and very clean (4.6 x 4.25 x 2.5 mm, estimated weight 0.42 ct).
Width 47 mm (1 7/8 in.)
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) with initials of Moscow assay master Ivan Lebedkin.
