” BOISSONAS ET EGGLER St Petersburg Nevsky 24″
In 1902, Swiss photographer Frederick Boasson and his German companion Fritz Eggler bought the studio of the famous court photographer Pasetti in St Petersburg. Soon, they became favorite photographers of the Imperial family and St Petersburg aristocracy.
Photographer Eggler was known as a master of the refined portrait. He introduced well thought out artistic poses, superb lighting, neat interiors, and his very own photo mats.
