Made in Vienna, Austria in the 1950s.
The brooch is finely modeled as a lily of the valley. The flower heads are superbly carved from frosted rock crystal and embellished with diamonds. The green leaf is naturalistically carved from a single piece of nephrite jade and mounted in white 14K gold. The tip of the stem is accented with small diamonds.
Marked with a horse head assay mark for Austrian 4th gold standard (14K), ‘W’ for Vienna, 585 gold, and maker’s initials ‘I B’.
Length is 83 mm (3 1/4 in.)
