This rare medieval partially gilded solid silver ring is engraved with a Florentine fleur-de-lis (giglio di Firenze). The shoulders of the ring are carved with two stylized trees, each flanked by a pair of spears.
The engraved shield with the fleur-de-lis measures 13 x 11 mm (4/8 x 7/16 in.)
Weight is 8.2 grams.
Metal analysis: 91.74% silver, 5.81% copper, 2.19% mercury, 0.25% lead.
