This antique Russian 14K gold cluster ring was made in Kiev in the 1880s-1890s. The ring features a natural unheated Ceylon sapphire of an excellent color and clarity. The sapphire measures 8.9 x 7.2 x 7.7 mm, approximately 4.15 ct, VS1 clarity. The center stone is framed by chunky old mine cut diamonds (F-J color, VS1-SI2 clarity). The prongs which are holding the sapphire are embellished with rose cut diamonds.
