Russian Imperial presentation cufflinks by Faberge, made in St. Petersburg around 1910, workmaster Alfred Thielemann. 1,3 x 1,3 cm (4/8 x 4/8 in).
Very fine gold and enamel work. Excellent condition. Intact original enamel.
The cufflinks are decorated with finely detailed gold Russian Imperial crown on gray guilloche enamel ground.
The borders are applied with chased yellow matt gold leaves.
The frames are of polished rose gold.
Scratched inventory number ‘1930’ of His Majesty’s Cabinet on both cufflinks.
Struck with 56 zolotniks standard (14K-583 gold) and workmaster’s initials ‘AT’ in the oval-shaped mark.
