This superb Renaissance style antique diamond and seed pearl necklace features a black and white onyx (agate) cameo finely carved with a profile of a lady.  The cameo is set in an ornate 14K white and yellow gold openwork bezel embellished with sparkling old European, transitional and old rose cut diamonds.

The cameo is circa 1880. The setting and chain were made in the 1920s-1930s. The necklace is marked on clasp with Austrian (Vienna) assay mark.

Estimated total diamond weight is 1.50 carats.
