This antique Faberge miniature egg pendant was made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917.
The egg is covered with a brilliant blue translucent guilloche enamel over a wavy moiré pattern. Faberge is best known for his high quality guilloche enamels.
Faberge was awarded the Grand Prix for his enamel work at Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900.
The egg is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and workmaster’s initials ‘ A A ‘ for Andre Adler.
