An Antique Siberian Amethyst and Demantoid Pendant Necklace

The 14K rose gold openwork pendant is designed as a stylized flower head centered with a huge sparkling bright purple
Siberian amethyst (22 x 20 x 17.8 mm, approximately 45.66 ct).
The petals of the flower are highlighted by eight bright apple green Russian demantoids. The bail is bezel-set with a rectangular demantoid.
The rope chain is marked with 56 zolotnik (14K) old Russian gold standard,
Moscow assay mark for 1899-1908 with initials of assay master Ivan Lebedkin and maker’s initials.
