A VERY FINE antique Russian silver and shaded cloisonne enamel cigarette case, made in Moscow between 1908 and 1917,
enameled in Medieval Russian style with four pairs of stylized birds and scrolling floral designs against turquoise ground.
3 1/8 x 4 in. (8 x 10,2 cm). Condition: a couple of minor repaired chips to enamel, light pocket wear.
Marked with 84 Imperial Russian zolotniks standard (875 silver) with Moscow assayer’s initials of Ivan Lebedkin and master’s initials Cyrillic ‘A ш’.
