This Art Nouveau era brooch / pin was made in the city of Kazan between 1899 and 1908.

Designed as stylized lilies of the valley, the 14K gold brooch is embellished with sparkling golden green demantoids.

The brooch is marked with 56 zolotnik Imperial gold standard with initials ‘ И А ‘ for Kazan assay master Ivan Ado (1899-1908) and maker’s initials.
