Made in the city of Kazan between 1899 and 1908.

These antique Russian 14K gold drop shaped earrings feature two sparkling golden green demantoid garnets (diameter 4.7 mm, approximately 0.47ct and 0.49 ct). The demantoids are surrounded by small old rose cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight is 0.36 ct.

The demantoid and diamond drops measure 11 x 8 mm (7/16 x 5/16 in.)

Weight 1.27 g and 1.17 g.

The earrings are marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard with initials ‘ И А ‘ for Kazan assay master Ivan Ado and maker’s initials.
