The gold-mounted egg is covered with a fine quality translucent guilloche enamel of silver purple color.
The egg is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K), St. Petersburg assay mark, and maker’s initials. The initials are only partially visible but likely they are ‘AA’ for Andre Adler.
Height without suspension ring is 16 mm (5/8 in.)
