The cover of this Art Nouveau era 14K gold locket pendant is embellished with a jeweled trefoil placed within a chased Art Nouveau lotus motif frame. The trefoil is set with one ruby, one blue sapphire and two old cut diamonds.
The interior is fitted with two miniature glazed picture frames.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard with initials of St. Petersburg assay master Yakov Liapunov and maker’s initials.
The pendant measures 28 x 19 mm (1 1/8 x 3/4 in.)
