This Arts & Crafts horseshoe shaped 14K gold brooch was made in Saint Petersburg in the 1890s.
The brooch is set with an oval cabochon cut amethyst and an irregular shaped turquoise.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and maker’s initials ‘BS’ or ‘RS’.
