This superbly crafted fifth anniversary necklace is made entirely in platinum. The front of the pendant is designed as stylized floral petals arranged in concentric circles. The “petals” are set with old rose cut diamonds and applied over mirror like platinum plate. The polished platinum background enhances the outlines of the petals.
The diamond set Roman numeral five or ‘V’ at the top is accented with a diamond ribbon bow. The bail is also embellished with rose cut diamonds.
The pendant is centered with a bright white old European cut diamond (5.4 x 2.6 mm, approximately 0.51 ct, F color, SI1 clarity).
Estimated total diamond weight is 1.30 ct.
The back is set with a glazed miniature picture frame.
Total weight is 22.31 grams.
The platinum chain is of a later date. Length is 44 cm (17 1/2 in.)
The pendant measures (with bail) 47 x 26 mm (1 7/8 x 1 in.)
