The silver body of the egg is covered with red and blue guilloche enamel, and white opaque enamel in a spiral pattern (a distinctive Faberge design). The egg is marked on the gold suspension ring with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and initials ‘AA’ for Faberge’s workmaster Andre Adler.
Length without suspension ring is 17 mm (5/8 in.)
