porcelain salt from the service of Grand Duchess Ksenia (Xenia) Alexandrovna (sister of czar Nicholas II), Imperial porcelain factory 1895.

Height 1 1/8 in. (3 cm). Length 3 3/8 in. (8,5 cm).

Both sides are decorated with monogram of Grand Duchess Ksenia: ‘A’ between two ‘K’s beneath Imperial crown.

Condition: a faint hairline crack (shown above), lightly worn gilding on rims.

Green factory mark in the form of Nicholas II cipher. Date ‘1895’.
