An Early Art Deco Diamond and Ruby Openwork Geometrical Ring
Made in Odessa between 1908 and 1917.
A rectangular silver-topped 14K gold ring is centered with a bezel-set old European cut round brilliant diamond (approximately 0.40 ct),
framed by six rectangular diamonds, and twelve square and rectangular synthetic rubies, all within a zig zag openwork frame with rose cut diamond borders.
All stones are set in silver.
Height – 20 mm (14/16 in.)
US ring size – 8 3/4 (19 mm)
The ring is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and maker’s initials.
