A RARE Antique Russian Imperial Presentation Porcelain Easter Egg of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich (uncle of Tsar Nicholas II).

Excellent condition.
The front is painted with the coat of arms of Russian Grand Dukes (sons of Russian Emperors), the back – with Cyrillic cipher ‘ПА’ beneath Imperial crown.
Photograph circa 1898, first from the left is Grand Duke Paul.
Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich, the sixth and the last son of Alexander II, Major-General and Commander in Chief of the Life Guard Horse regiment, was married to princess Alexandra of Greece (died in 1891).
In January 1919, the Grand Duke was executed in St. Peter and Paul Fortress in St Petersburg, together with other members of the Romanov family.
