An Elegant Art Nouveau Sapphirine Diamond Gold Brooch Pin

made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917

The 14K gold brooch is designed as pair of stylized berries set with cabochon cut grayish blue sapphirines and four old European cut diamonds.

The brooch is marked on frame and pin with St. Petersburg assay mark. There is also a scratched inventory number on the frame.

There is no maker’s mark, but it is likely that the brooch was made either by Faberge or Tillander.
