Made in the late 1870s
The 18K gold stickpin is naturalistically modeled as a miniature Turkish dagger embellished with red & green guilloche enamel, turquoise opaque enamel, pearl and enamel beads hanging on two gold chains.
It is a rare souvenir piece from the period of the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878 on the Balkans.
Marked on pin with 72 zolotnik old Russian gold standard.
